The Project for Community-based Sustainable Development Master Plan of Qeshm Island toward “Eco-Island”

The project started from November 2016 and will finish in October 2018. Mr Maziar Qaseminejad, represents Piramoon Architect in this project and coordinates the project in Qeshm island. He also was assigned as the Terrestrial Areas Planner (Geopark Expert) . 27 hight ranked Japanese experts dedicated for this project. A plenty of meetings, reports, seminars, surveys, interviews, sub-contracts, pilot projects, training courses, etc is under going within this project. Qeshm Free Zone Organization is the Iranian counterpart, JICA is an abbreviation for Japan International Cooperation Agency. The project is a community based process to satisfy as more as possible stakeholders and all activities follow a specific criteria to make sure that maximum participatory is done. The villagers are the main decision makers specially to select, plan and implement the pilot projects.
