Rural Museum, Cultural Centre

Direstan is a well-known village in Qeshm Island for its vast date gardens and its long history. The village is located in the midst of the island, is the closest settlement to the International Airport, and is so closed to turtles hatching coast and dolphins' bay, so it has a great capacity for tourism and ecotourism development. This project was designed to manage a plenty of heritage findings collected by some villagers to support their own culture. We had several meetings with locals and realized that they need new safe and secured spaces for their kids, too. They became so happy of having such a nice gathering place for the old men and women. This complex could be a welcoming space for the visitors as well.
