Miankaleh peninsula is one of the richest ecological havens in West Asia and perhaps in the whole world. It is home to many unique Caspian birds and reptile species native to this region. It's also a very important internationally recognized refuge for migratory birds. Wikipedia

Our scope of work began with a comprehensive site selection process prioritized by environmental preservation. By identifying a location that minimized vegetation displacement and maintained a respectful setback from historical ruins, we ensured the site’s cultural integrity remained intact. Furthermore, the building’s footprint was strategically positioned near the existing utility grid to reduce landscape fragmentation. The final structure utilizes a passive design framework, informed by traditional regional orientations to optimize thermal performance.
