Visitor Centre of Salt Dome Geosite
Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark, Iran
The Qeshm Island UNESCO Global Geopark Bureau, ordered us to design three facilities for famous geosites in the island namely Salt Dome, Statues Valley, and Chah-Kuh geosites. One of the big challenges in Qeshm Island tourism industry is mass tourism during winter season that maximizes in March around Nowruz. Millions of people drive to the island so provide safe and sound facilities to serve them and their cars is a big issue. The ground shoveled in 2020, but got paused because of big financial issues for the local government.
