Mix-use of Sports and Office Building

The project was suspended during the design development phase due to client-side capital funding constraints, precluding the commencement of construction. The primary architectural challenge involved reconciling the disparate spatial requirements of the Northern administrative block and the Eastern professional athletic facility. This necessitated a complex structural integration to manage the differing floor-to-ceiling heights and programmatic demands of two distinct occupancy types within a singular site plan.

Central to the athletic facility is an octagonal Zoorkhaneh, a specialized arena dedicated to traditional Iranian heroics. The morphology of this compartment is inspired by the Borj-e Toghrol in Rey (Tehran), an 11th-century Seljuk-era monument. This design leverages the tower’s historic geometry to create a high-volume, culturally resonant space for ritual strength athletics within the modern professional sports complex.
